We went this year. It was the best holiday I have had in a long time. It was great for families wanted a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The rooms were lovely and clean and well laid out. We had rooms on the ground floor overlooking the garden. They were like little appartments and had their own front door and front and back terrace. The views were amazing.
The Beach was not far at all just a little walk down the path from the hotel. It was sandy but with volcanic rubble on it - but still nice.
Kardamena Town is a little walk away (about 10-15 mins from the beach). It is very lively there, and if you enjoy night life that is the place to go. It also boasts lovely shops to browse and tavernas.
The entertainment was limited. The team tryed very very hard to get everyone involved and to give of their best - but their talent was limited. I would not leave my young daughter alone with the team as observed that the children were sometimes left alone while the animation team member went to get paints etc. Also they went in the pool to play one day and there was only one member to about 10 children and she had them running around the slippy pool side. The day time activities were just enough in the heat of the day. I enjoyed the Water gym especially.
The food was excellent. Really enjoyed it. Although I think the snacks by the pool could be improved. The Bar staff and animation team were excellent. The atmosphere was that of friendliness between guests.
I had an excellent, stress free, relaxing, child entertained holiday. It was lovely and I will definately be going back. |

My boyfriend and I came back on 9th October after spending 2 weeks at the Louis Helios. We were very happy with the hotel and staff. Everywhere was nice and clean and the food was very good. The drinks were....rather weak incomparison to drinks served to us in bars in Kardamena. It's going to take a lot of cocktails at the hotel before your merry! The pool is big. The hotel also has it's own private beach, which was lovely compaired to other beaches in the area and very quiet. It's about 2/3 minutes walk from the hotel and the sun loungers are free. The only thing we weren't particularly keen on was the evening entertainment. Every night it kicked off with the same few kids songs followed by a couple of Elvis numbers. After you got these out of the way the animation team done something different each night, a show or quiz etc. We had a nice relaxing time and would recommend it. |

Hi. My boyfriend and I will be staying at the Louis Helios at the end of September for 2 weeks. Can any body tell me if they have watersports there and if they'd be included in the 'All Inclusive' price? Also, what's the food like at the Louis Helios? Any feed back would be appreciated. Cheers

What can I say? Arrived back in the UK Thursday of last week, raining! Two weeks in paradise had come to a wet end! The hotel is small in comparison to other all inclusives and this is one of its great strengths, the staff get to know you and it makes your stay a personal experience. Rooms are clean and regularly serviced, AC works, bathrooms are well appointed, and balconies all have great views. Staff endeavours to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The pool area has plenty of sun beds and the area and pool are cleaned daily. The buildings are surrounded by well looked after gardens and lawns. The beach area is a short walk from the back of the hotel and the sun beds and shades are free. Beach is course sand and sea is warm and clear. However, just off the beach are some rocks (just a few feet) that you need to cross to get to a clear sandy seabed that is full of sea life (don't use your lilo as the breeze off the island will blow it away if you let go of it). Kardamena a short walk along the coast road (or 5 Euros in a taxi). The road is safe to walk along even late at night as long as you are sensible/careful (there is lighting and also lighting along the path to the hotel). Kardamena is buzzing the bars and clubs are great, everyone is really friendly, we never saw or heard of any trouble whilst we were here. I and the rest of our party (there were 11 of us) would love to come back and do it all again and we would like to thank some people for making it so special. Thanks to: Nic, George, Nicholas, Pierre and Arthur; the reception staff, catering staff and the maids; Thomas, Lisa, Alex and Erica (the animation team, I still do not want to do the "wake up Gym"!) and finally George who tidies the pool and beach area and always has a smile, thank you all. I hope one day we can do it all again!!

| Thanks,we went to Soveriegn beach last year, which we enjoyed, but we had to use plastic glasses in the enteraining area, lager really is not the same, having said that it was still a good holiday, this hotel must been near Soveriegn beach, is the lane dark at night or is there lighting? thanks again |

| sorry to say yes to the plastic glasses but only round the pool of which i think is a ood idea, because if children are out and about .you are close to the banana bar on the beach road that is nice .that takes youto bars on front if you venture out try crackers bar, hope you enjoy yourselves |
