I would definatly recommend these appartments. They are quiet, clean and basic. Lets face it, unless your paying loads and in a propper hotel your not going to get luxary or 5 star but we were definatly inpressed with the Monika. Surrounded by trees and plans but no bugs or midgets. Owner was friendly and always around checking on things. Its about a 5 min walk until you hit the begining of what i would call 'main bits' of Kardamena. but a few bars and appartments on route. About a 10 min walk from the center. If your lookign for loud mad life don't go here. But if you want a quiet place to stay which is quite picturess i'd recommend here. Its true to say we rearly saw a maid and they don't leave toilet role but again its basic and you pay for what you get! Iwould take a torch, from what i remember it can geta bit dark walking back but they may have put lights in by now!
If you aint fussy and prepared to go basic for a while STAY THERE. | ||||||||||

| It was very basic like most accommodation in greece. would be unsafe to walk back alone in the dark. very nice surroundings with the trees, and lack of drunken 'sickness' is the positive of being slightly out of town. ludikos are same price and closer with nicer views tho!! | ||||||||||

| Stayed here a few years ago. Owner was very friendly and the location is good. You can sleep at night as it is 5 mins walk from the tavernas and main area. Nice walk in the morning to the bakers etc Loved it | ||||||||||

| When we arrived it was the middle of the night, and one apartment my friend stayed in was flooded, the rep didn't stay around,someone had left the fridge off. In the mornin it seemed better, the apartments were basic but clean, we hardly has any bugs which suprised us because it was surounded by trees and bushes.Take a fan with you if you go, you'll need it!its about 10-15 mins walk to the centre. There's no reception but theres a bank with safety deposit boxes in the centre, and the reps are based there.its abit lary walking home at night, the roads just as dangerous as walking along a small road through fields. The maids dont provide toilet roll, you have to buy it, and they change the sheets once a week, and your lucky if they change the towels. Overall though greece is basic, but the monika is very basic and extremely quiet | ||||||||||
