To start, there was this amazing girl there, didnt know her name or nothing, plus the face I didnt pluck up enough courage to talk to her . The animation team where good and funny, all the children enjoyed themselves, my sister couldnt get enough!
Overall, the hotel, I would rate 8/10, and the girl, 10/10

First went to the Aegean Village in October 2005 with my son and liked it and Kardamena so much went back again. Got back 3 days ago and I'm missing it so much. The Hotel is beautiful and the Staff fantastic, they even remembered me from last year! The food however was not so good, but according to the Chef it's what the tourists want, just not me or anyone I know!! The entertainment team this year are exceptioanlly nice and represent most of Europe. If anyone's going there this year Mia loves being thrown in the pool, preferably fully clothed! Their night time entertainment can be a bit of hit and miss but we did see one brilliant show involving Marco using Mia as a selection of musical instruments. The town centre which is a short walk away is extremely lively and of an evening you have to run the gauntlet of young brits vying for Pole Position on the most popular bar. It can be a tad annoying for the older generation but it's all a blast for the 18-30s or those young at heart. be aware that you pay for long drinks but the shots are free, especially in 1960 and Stone Roses down at the square. However, if you're in 1960 don't get George to serve you or you'll still be waiting for your drinks when the planes about to take off for home! The best cocktail bar in Kadamena is Calypso, along the strip. If you go there say hello to Elias and tell him I'll be back soon for more Sex on the Beach! Enjoy your stay and if at the Aegean Village the first set of tables in the restuarant are served by Yianni. He forgot to say good bye to me before I left so tell him if I'm not back before the end of the season I'll send him a bottle of my perfume "Far and Away" to remember me by!

The Aegean Village is a family run business and is located just outside ( walking distance) of Kardemena Village, which has many many restaurants and Bars, good restaurants include NEMOS and CAMELOT, and very accessible to the Airport ( approx 10 mins!). Most of the apartments are lovely there are one or two ground floor ones that are a little small and dark. Was first booked into one of these, but were moved as we were not happy and had asked for Balcony. Staff most helpful and friendly. Swimming Pool area wonderful and own beach, with water sports, although you do have to pay for sunbeds there. They do have their own aniamtion Team who were excellent throughout the day with various activities around the pool for children and adults, HOWEVER their evening entertainment was absolutely awful, especially for adults. We have never seen anything so terrible and unprofessional!! Team leader was the worst offender, he thought he was brilliant...If you want a good laugh please do go along....its an experience you will not forget! But go with an open mind, and you wont then be too shocked. Costumes were out of this world, (literally), not one singer amongst them, and dancing basic. I suggest you visit Kardemena in the evenings for entertainment! Many of us staying at the time were horrid at just HOW bad it was, yet the surroundings and facilities are there, just need a good person to organise a good evening entertainment programme

My wife and I have just come back from a week's stay.
Extremely hot, very clean hotel. It has the biggest pool I have ever seen in a hotel/complex.
Something going on all day although the 'animation' team can be quite annoying with their 'jobsworth' idle chats.
beach ok, could be much beter if cleaned and raked on a daily basis. Sea extemely safe and very clear.
Food ok but very repetitive and lacked innovation - had a couple of issues with a particular waiter so just move to aother area of the restaurant to avoid him, others excellent.
Hotel beautifully set on a hillock

We stayed here last week. We thought the hotel was great - air conditioning, sea view from room, and extremely helpful and friendly receptionists. However, we did have a really bad experience - when choosing what to wear one morining, my boyfriend noticed bleach stains on three of his t-shirts which must have been from where the chambermaid had splashed some when cleaning the room. We spoke to the manager and asked if he could take some money off the room as a form of compensation. To our amazement he accused us of spilling the bleach ourselves, just to get money off the room! For this reason, I wouldn't go back there.

We stayed at the Aegean Village June 2004 and we are going back June 2005. We loved it. We found everybody so friendly and helpful. Room was very nice with good airconditioning, a television, very clean couldn't fault it. The only problem that could put some people off is the steep climb to the rooms. There are a minibuses that work 24/7 so normally not a problem. If you are higher up the views are just amazing. Would recommend this hotel to most people. The website address is www.aegeanvillage.com.
