Again for eight years running I stayed at the Peros/Mayflower complex, Kefalos. There is no way I could fault this accommodation. Anyone that I spoke to did not have a bad word to say about the place. The only complaint I heard was from a couple who were unable to get booked in to the place as it was full and they had to stay elsewhere. Dimitri and his family were as usual great, together with the other staff Gingka who did my personal laundry for me ensuring I had a constant supply of freshly laundered and ironed clothing! Anything I needed was not a problem and every day I enjoyed having my breakfast, which lasted for well over an hour as I sat and had my usual chat with Dimitri to let the early morning sun cool down so I could get some sun bathing in without getting burnt! So all I can say is you would be hard pushed to find a better place to stay and the Quiz night on a Sunday (a new entertainment addition to Sunday nights) not only went down well with me but also those who turned up for it from around the resort! I stayed from the Sept to October and did not have a problem keeping my room on either, since I was not being collected to 01.35hrs I had my room right until I left at no extra charge (must admit spent most of the time with Dimitri watching Greek TV and having a final chat). all I can say to all at Peros/Mayflower is sincere thanks to you all for making my holiday a good and relaxing one, with no worries! |

I am going to Kefalos on Thurs 18th Sept, to stay in the Afentoulis Apts, which I am told are just behind/ next to the Mayflower. I shall be collecting a car at the airport, on arrival at 01.30 in the morning, can anyone indicate whereabouts the Mayflower, and so Afentoulis are.....cos I haven't a clue! - Prev stayed in Dionysia, and know landmarks such as Sebastians, the garage on the bend, the Trust Tours sign as you go along the road in Kefalos, and can turn left to the car park. Many thanks if you can advise, panicking a bit! but Im sure one of the reps will be able to tell me when I get there

I have been to Peros/Mayflower complex many times and in fact I will be returning in a few weeks time, as I would not go any where else! I have made many friends in Kefalos and look forward to seeing them all again very soon!
The apartments are very clean, laundry is changed on a regular basis and also the apartments are also cleaned regular as well. I am sorry but you would be hard pushed to fault this place or the people.
I now know Dimitri and his family well and they are always there to help me when I am staying there which I am very grateful to them for . I enjoyed the fresh pumkin fritters that Dimitri made for me, being a qualified chef and catering manager i can say they were good! I normally have my breakfast at the bisrto area next to the pool and I enjoy a fully cooked breakfast. Dimitri and Kristula also gave me fresh peaches for my room, they could not have been any fresher, coming from the peach tree that was just to the side of my balcony! There is lots to do in Kefalos, places to eat and drink. Dimitri's brother John, owns Capitan Johns where I can tell you I eat on regular basis. The fried cheese is awesome and a firm favourite of mine! Kristula provides impomtu entertainment by performing the taditional greek dance with dinning guests.
The weather is also great and hot, so there is nothing like sitting by the pool with a cool lemonade. Other favourite foods are soft baclavas. A spun pastry with soft nuts and soaked in honey, (honey does not taste like strong honey) what a treat for someone who does not like honey!
Kefalos is a place to chill out and a couple of night clubs togetherf with the locals night club which I went to the last time I was in town, it was a great night. Kefalos is not a place for those seeking the party places like Kos Town, not really a place for toddlers either, it is best for people 25 + that want to recharge their batteries.
If you want a heaven on earth and where people are truely friendly, then the Peros/Mayflower complex is the place to be for a great break.
I have a load of pictures of the memories of Kefalos, so anyone looking for a reminder of that deep blue sea, a sunny haze hanging over the sea, and the place that is Kefalos left me know.

I am sure there has been a few changes since I was last back, Yurgo will have grown up a bit more together with his sister, my best friend Yianni has his car and his dad and Gilly have Baywatch Water Sports. Maria at the supermarket. I look forward to seeing you all in the coming weeks, I have missed you all!
Be careful, Kefalos and its residents quickly find there way into your heart and you can quickly be heartbroken when flying home and seeing the lights on the harbour of Kefalos, trust me I know!! |

hubby has just come back from these apartments - he rates them very highly. There are kettles in the rooms to make drinks. Plenty of room. He had a 3 bed apartment to himself. Staff very helpful. Complex very secure. He never locked his door once in the whole week he was there day or night. |

I give the Mayflower/Peros apartments 10/10. This is my third visit and Dimitri and his family make you warm and welcome. He does remember you if you go back as I had a space of 5 years and he still remembered.
Kefalos is a great chilling out place. Good food and plenty to do but not wild. Kardamena or Kos town are for that kind of stuff.
There are two lovely beaches close by by water taxi. The town beach is fine if you just want to lay there and watch the world go by.
I don't want to go anywhere else, but know I must explore other islands but I'll always come back to Kos and the Mayflower/Peros |

First stayed here in1998 and have been back every year since!! (no, that's not sad, I've just never seen anywhere better!) The family who own them are lovely people and nothing is too much trouble.
Kefalos is great for families and couples but not recommended if you want to make loads of noise and get very drunk!!.....If so PLEASE go somewhere else!!
Can't recommend this place highly enough, if you haven't been before, try it. I bet you'll come back! |

Just returned following our second visit to the Peros studios. We were there for a week last October and enjoyed it so much that this time we booked two weeks. When we arrived the owner Dimitri immediately recognised us and gave my wife a friendly hug and me a handshake. The Peros is ideally located in a quiet area back from the main street with the beach, tavernas and bars all within a short walk. The studios are very basic but very clean and the towels and bed linen is changed on a regular basis. There is a good size swimming pool together with a childrens pool and the pool bar offers a good choice of food and drink. We have already decided that, like so many other guests who return year after year, we ouselves will be returning again next year. |

Wonderful place! We stayed at the Mayflower II basic but clean, pool area is great, plenty of sunbeds and shade (definately needed in August!). The staff there are great too, very friendly and helpful. There is no air con, but the off shore breeze is amazing. However you may want rent a fan for 25 Euros, if you dont want to be eaten by the mosquitos at night!

We just returned from a great week in Kefalos. We stayed in Mayflower 1 apts. (basic and clean), owner was great and we had a wonderful stay. Supermarket right next door where you could find most things needed at cheap prices. (need to buy your own toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc...) A short walk into town and to the beach. Lots of great Tavernas, we ate somewhere different every night and never had a bad meal. Resort is quiet and great for chilling out in, mainly middle aged couples. (not good for 18-30s who are looking for lots of loud nightlife). Lots of good trips to go on and explore the island. We would definately go back and stay at the Mayflower apts again. |

| My fiance and I have just returned from a weeks holiday, we stayed at the Peros studios and throughly enjoyed our stay, the rooms are typically Greek, but they are clean and spacious. The pool, poolside bar and staff are all fantatic, the staff are all very friendly and lovely.
The supermarket next door has everything you could possibly need, it's ace.
Kefalos is a lovely resort, we will defiantly be returning next year and staying at the Peros Studios.
I have no hesitation in recommending Kefalos and the Peros studios to anyone wanting a relaxing, chilled out holiday. |

we stayed in the mayflower 2 and it was great. it was simple yet we were supplied with everything we needed. it was out of the way but not too far out and still only a short walk to the beach etc. we had anthoulis supermarket right on our doorstep and part of the complex was a bar/pool area where we had breakfast once or twice although we didnt spend a great deal of time there. we were out in the daytime but at night there was no unwanted noise. it was clean and tidy and well accomodated as we had all the essentials but wasnt over crowded. rooms were spacious and decorated well. overall, a lovely stay and we would consider coming back here
