Just answering my own question yes there are safes in the rooms.Just have come back and had a wonderful time at the studios and resort both where perfect, The studios are basic but totally adequiet and are in a magic location. The resort is really peaceful and easy going and as our rep put it full of Greek maybe time. Must also before Igo reccomend a Greek gyros from the hotel Kordistos beach restuarent only 170 euro homemade fantastic. Looking to go back. Phil | ||||||||||

| My friend and I stayed one week from 5th June 04 to 12th June 04. The rooms were clean and there was a beautifull view from balcony. It was quiet and right on the beach. We enjoyed Meltimi to eat at lunchtime and evening. (We did not like the so called famous restaurant Tonys next door to Irenes - their attitude rather destroyed the famous greek hospitality.)Opposite Irenes there was a friendly supermarket Oasis ,ATM and a little snack bar Riverside-very handy for nightcaps and having chats with local people. We had a really relaxing time- | ||||||||||

| Small two-storey block of 10 apartments, all with balconies and a wonderfull view of Kamari bay, 200 metre walk to the beach along a flat path. Apartments are clean, with the usual pine furniture, and fridge/sink/hob unit. 25 minutes or so walk to the harbour area, about 40 minutes up the hill to Kefalos town. Cash machine opposite, several tavernas nearby, and two supermarkets and car hire places within 5 minutes | ||||||||||
