We stayed at the Anastasia Apartments in August 2002, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The studio (upstairs) was superb - white marble everywhere - beautiful. Well furnished, great view, tv available (if you needed it), usual Greek facilities. The beach immediately in front of the apartment was a bit stony, but a walk of about 50 yards (the opposite side of the harbour) took you to a nice sandy one, with the boulders of the harbour on one side, which made snorkelling interesting.
The supermarket just over the road was then run by a chap called Nic, who was just the friendliest, most helpful person we have ever met in Greece. We went to the little harbour every day. Although quite tiny, there was something interesting to see. Our all-time favourite excursion was from here, to the nearby volcanic island of Nisyros - wonderful.
I would recommend this holiday to anyone who enjoys (as we do) self-catering in the Greek Islands. |
