  Overall, i had a great time in Kefalos,though quiet but relaxing!I arrived on the 12th July flying with My Travel,katherina apartments is only about 20 mins from airport. We were greeted by Katherina's brother who was friendly and took our bags and showed us to our apartment which was number 9. The apartments are quite basic but all you need!make sure to ask for fan once you get there and key for the safety box 25 euros for the week!!trust me the fan is well worth it!!
The rooms are really clean,cleaned everyday with new towels and bed sheets!cleaner very friendly!no interference form katherina. She was very helpful when I had fell and banged my head on the floor on my 2nd night because of sun stroke
 ,she was always checking up on me to make sure i was ok,she also helped with any problems and went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay!Katherina apartments only 5mins walk from beach,plenty of places to eat out and plenty of supermarkets to get water and all types of foods if you are wanting to cook!!there is also a pool across the road,you are allowed to use it as long as buy something i.e bottle of water,the owners very helpful and friendly there too!
Only thing i wish was in the apartments was air-conditioning!!lol

Our second visit to Kefalos as fell on love with the island and its lovely local people, this year we stayed at the Katherina appartments and was put into room three which was the smallest they had and as it was clean decided to make do. Just one snag, the chap who calls himself 'the manager' has a nasty habit of turning your fridge down. We actually manage to cook very well in greek appartments and had a freezer compartment full of food from the local butchers, we came home to find water on the floor and the food ruined. We asked the rep to ask them not to touch the fridge which resulted in the owner and Katherina visit us shouting,screaming and flaying arms around and we told them to leave us,however, this happened a further three times as he just would not leave our fridge alone and having had enough of this we insisted on moving. We had even helped out Katherina for about five hours sorting out an alcoholic guest who had smashed his appartment and was incapable of getting on his bus home. But still we had massive problems with the owner. He entered our room each day to adjust the fridge and wandered what else he did!!! we are not the first to endure this as you can see, so watch out if you complain about anything, they come down on you like angry wasps!!! Third time we've stayed at Katharina's and as ever it was fantastic. Katharina was really helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to sort out a problem we had that had been caused by the travel company. We'd definitely recommend it! | ||||||||||

Katherina apartments are pretty standard as far as Greek accommodation goes - basic and not particularly big! However, the room was very clean and was cleaned regularly (our washing up was even done for us!) and what really sets these apartments aside is their location. It's fab..... In the middle of everything but quiet as Kefalos is a small resort anyway. 5 mins to beach, several tavernas, shops etc etc. It's also very nice that it's family run although we only saw the owners to organise getting a safety deposit box key (in room - 8 euros for a week) and a fan for the room (10 euros for a week). Excellent for us as we were not fussed about having a pool, reception etc etc. | ||||||||||

| The apartments are in a excellent position for everything you could possibly need,the beach is only about 5 mins walk away,there's a 24hr cafe right next door,a doctors opposite,a shop about 100 yds up the road,and a swimming pool at the hotel opposite. We found the room to be basic but all we needed and was cleaned twice a week. We would go back there again without any hesitation. | ||||||||||

| Basic but had everything we needed, afterall you don't spend much time in the room. The rooms were cleaned more often than we were told they would be which was good. The owners Nic (I think) and his daughter Katherina we always extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The only issues with noise were due to other English guests shouting from balcony to balcony at 7.00 am, so not the fault of the venue. We'll definately stay here next time we go. | ||||||||||

| The apartments are pretty basic but have all you really need and anyway you have to walk all of about 10 metres to get something to eat. There's no pool but the nearest one you can use is just across the road. The apartments are handily placed for visiting most of Kefalos and there are some excellent restaurants nearby. The apartments were kept pretty clean but the fridge was turned back down to 1 every day! Why? absolutely no chance of cold beer! Also the nice old guy who owned the place was always dropping fresh fruit in - probably to make up for his witch of a daughter who was quite the nastiest person (to us)I have come across in many a year. I ended up complaining to the rep about her attitude to us which really offensive at times. I am an almost retired teacher so I was looking for a quiet holiday - she almost ruined it. I'd willingly go back to Kefalos again but I wouldn't go near the Katherina Apartments | ||||||||||
