Eftichia Apartments

Stayed last week jul first aug 07. These are typical Koan self catering apts,clean,basic and great! I was told the name meant "happyness" and i would be happy to stay again! This time though i'll keep my footwear inside as the puppy has a taste for them and the shower mat! The family who live there and service them are very friendly you'll enjoy the welcome! If your flights are late you can have the room til 8pm for 20 euro i was told but our flight was'nt til 0320 so i get a room by the harbour for 20 euro just down from sunlight cafe. | |

The Eftichea (pronounced Eff-ti-hear) Apartments are named after the owner Eftichea, a lovely lady who, like other comments below, does not speak much English. However she coped with our minimal Greek, and with a few smiles (and Yasoos!) in the right places, we had no problems.
The apartment was basic but clean, with a fridge, kettle, sink and double hotplate. Hire a fan (20€ for 2 weeks) if you're there in July & August, as there's no air-con (we had one day of 50C - quite warm!).
The apartments are just a 2 minute walk from the harbour, local mini-markets, and the beach. Andreas' Apartments nearby have a pool, restaurant and excellent car-hire facilities.
Kefalos is a quiet resort even at the height of the season. Kiddies and Teenagers may find it too quiet for their liking, but my wife Helen and I thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility, views and local restaurants (see Sebastian's), and look forward to returning soon. | |

| we stayed here from 19th may to the 2nd june 2007,just got back!we loved the location of the apartments,just behind the harbour,and a stroll away from some of the best restaurants we have been to in greece.everybody we met said they had been before and would come again,as we will.would recomend for a nice relaxing holiday in very pleasant surroundings. | |

| Stayed at these apartments a couple of years ago.They are typical Greek accommodation and certainly adequate and always kept clean. Although we did have trouble with the toilet whilst we were there and the owner regularly had to lift the manhole cover and poke about.Whilst we were there apricots were in season and we had a regular supply given to us by the owner. Virtually next door is a small complex with a pool this is quite lively so we always used Popis Pool which is only a short distance away going across the track at the back of the Eftichia. In all we had a very pleasant stay but because of its location would not make it a future choice. | |

| The apartments were normal size for greek sc apartments, very clean and situated mid resort, good for either end of resort or ready to go up to the old town on the hill. 2 cash machine in the area, 1 at the top of the hill slightly on the right. | Apartments were lovely! Very clean and very well situated, off main road so don't get noisy bikes coming past. The little greek lady that owns it is lovely aswell. Doesn't speak any English but she was so so lovely and welcoming. Would defo recomend these. | ||||||||||
