Restaurants in Kos Town

Very Greek restaurnat which we loved.  Food first class and enjoyed everything we ordered as recommended by the waiter.

Nice restaurant with good food, but slightly pricier than others for the portion sizes.  Good place to go if you'd like to try lots of little different dishes.

OLIVE - A Traditional Greek Meze Restaurant.

I visited this restaurant again on the 27th of September 2005 with 7 other friends after the celebrationns in the square for The Multicultural Festival of Kos.

We had a number of meze dishes, I think 12 in all, beers all round, a couple of Litres of wine and the total bill was only  €85.00 euros, that is just over €10.00. euros per head and we had plenty to eat.
This restaurant can be found towards the top of the old cobbled street which leads up to Diagora Square, it is on the left hand side next to The Italian Garden Restaurant, (AKA as 8.1/2).
I liked this restaurant very much because it is different, they serve lots of small meze dishes which cost between 2 and 4 euros, and half a litre of red wine cost me just 4 euros.

One of our favourite restaurants on the island, great choice of mezes and so cheap and so filling (a bit rich but SO GOOD).. Nice staff and great location as you can sit back and watch ppl and its close to so many cool bars.

I think that I was the only tourist in there and I went with some of my Greek friends, and as far as I could see all the other diners were Greek - enough said.
