| had a great time at sandys.stayed in the cottages and they couldnt be faulted.staff are very freindly especially petros!met some lovely people (anne & alan) thankyou both for making our holiday even better. |

| THE LAST 2 YEARS WE WENT TO NORTHERN CYPRUS & GRAN CANARIA - AND HATED THEM BOTH! SO THIS YEAR WE HOPED FOR THIRD TIME LUCKY , AND WER'NT DISSAPPOINTED SANDYS APPTS WERE IN A GREAT LOCATION TO STROLL INTO KOS TOWN ( 20 MINS / BUT WHO CARES ) . THE APPTS WERE SPOTLESS AND WHEN I ASKED FOR ' SLIGHT ' ROOM MAINTENANCE - IT WAS DONE ALMOST IMMEDIATELY !! THE WOODEN CHALETS ON SITE HAVE TO BE SEEN TO BE BELIEVED ( book through sandys ) . A STROLL DOWN TO THE BEACH & MARINA TAKES ABOUT 10 MINS WHERE A LOCAL 'GREEK GEEZER' SELLS FRESH FRIUT FROM AN API . IF YOU LOVE YOUR GREEK TUCKER HEAD FOR A RESTAURANT CALLED LE STREGA (the witch) & TRY KLEFTIKO ( ooh mamma ) , THERE IS ALSO A BAR CALLED TAURUS on MANDILARA ST THAT SHOWS LIVE FITBA ON HUGE T.Vs ......ANYWAY ALL IN ALL ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! LEE & CAROLINE.(C.T.I.D) |

Just like to say love the place!! will hopefully be returning in the not to distant future.
Spent most days just lazing around the pool topping up the tan. There was some excellent people staying at the Sandy's which really made the holiday, had a great laugh with all of them, made some wicked friends that we will no doubt keep in touch with.
rooms were basic but fine, cleaned every day the pool and bar area was spotless the guy that cleaned the pool must have spent about 2 hours each morning making sure it was spotless.
For the scottish girls and there mum i still have my white bits!!
If you are wondering about going to Sandy's wonder no more bloody go you'll regret it if you dont.
All the staff were great - really helpful chatty and nice what more could you ask for.
We loved our holiday here mainly due to the nice people we meet and the friends staff i.e. George et al.

A special thank you to George in our hour of need, due to Olympic misplacing our suitcase.
Olympic rep did not want to know!! But George stepped in and drove us to the airport and back. What more can you say ?? but loads of gratitude and a big THANKS

Sandys is a great place! its fab if you want to go for a pool holiday everything you need restaurant bar and mini market! Pedro is a funny he works behind the bar and george needs to get his beer prices sorted out 3 euro for a pint! very very clean through out cleaners there everyday with fresh towels and bedding. it is about 15mins away from kos town and a taxi is just 5 euro! so its a great location! nice and quiet if you want to get sleep from clubbing! lol! stayed for 2 weeks will be back next year! |

We were at Sandys last year and had a great time. I can't understand the few negative comments. George and co. could not have been nicer. We liked it so much that we have just booked again for this year ( first time we have ever done that ). |

Spent 2 weeks at Sandys in July 2005. Everything was good about the place. The apartments were clean and adequate, the pool was beautiful, the food was excellent and good price, and the staff were all very friendly & helpful.
Would recommend to anyone. |

Sandys Studios definately made my 6 week holiday in Kos this summer. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, for whatever we needed they always helped us out. The apartments are lovely, I stayed in three different kinds and all of them were spotlessly clean.
The location is slightly outside of the city center but this was an added bonus to me as it was nice to relax during the day. There is always great craic at the bar at night if you wanted a night in. Food is also stunning at the bar, very handy if you're not in the mood for the busy restaurant strip!
An excellent place for families, I definately recommend it.

I spent 6weeks in sandys in summer 2005..
i met the most amazing people.george and helen the owners did absolutly everything possible for my friend and i and couldn't have been nicer..the bar men are super and great fun.|as a family run business it is a complete sucess. i never heard 1guest say anything negative about it. all they said is how it is 1million times better than all the rest.i would go back in the morning if i could.
i miss every1 there and i really miss the fabulous island of kos.the weather is fab, the nitelife is all u could ask for, and the food, especially sandys spagetti is devine.love it and miss it.  |

Having reviewed the reviews previously posted I can honestly say that Sandy's is a good solid holiday destination.
The apartments are simple yet effective. The Chalets are excellent.
The location is good and best suited for those wishing to get away from it all. It is only 10 minutes to the beach at Psilidi. I don't mind walking to and from places so the stroll to Kos Town centre (25 minutes) wasn't a problem. It's also a great way to see Kos town
Food on-site is good a bit like Greece's version of a pub lunch. If the pool bar and taverna is busy you may find yourself waiting 20/25 mintues but this is a good opportunity to meet the other holiday makers and/or have a drink from the reasonably priced bar.
Swimming pool is 15 metres approx and can sometimes get busy a peak period but it's good for a nice cool dip.
Overall I would visit Sandy's again and would recommend anyone visiting Kos to go to Sandy's especially if you are looking to get away from it all.
The staff and management at Sandy's are all helpfull, hard working and friendly.
My only suggestion is that they lay on a small room (at no extra cost) for the people going out on night flights so they can leave baggage and have a much needed shower. |

When we first arrived in Kos we weren't to sure, the hotels people were getting dropped off at were some right dumps! We arrived at Sandys at about 5 in the morning so we really just wanted to sleep !
I have to say Sandys really made our holiday i was really worried cos we hadn't even seen a picture before we went! We had a lovely pool, lovely surroundings and the rooms were fairly basic but clean and tidy but what do you really need only a comfy bed and hot water ?! Which we had plenty of!
We will go back to Sandys one day thats certain!
The only thing i would warn you is the town is further away than you think and the back road you walk down isn't very well lit sometimes no lights at all! so if you are anything like me with an over active imagination i would advise you to take a torch!!

I dont have much to say here. Stayed in the appartments. Not very clean I thought. In fact I decided to give Sandys the benefit of the doubt and was disappointed. I can see why some people like it however I found that if you had any problems, unless you were in with George et all they were not delt with on a professional basis. Also for some reason for a host he is very confrontational to some of his guests and in my opinion for no good reason in many instances. I understand that its a difficult business but I could not recommend the appartments. I didnt see the bungalows and perhaps for spending more money maybe you get a better deal. That would appear to be the problem with Sandys. Two sets of accomodation and two sets of attitudes to the clients. A successful operator would be conscious of this. Until this is rectified (and I will never know if it is or not) I could not recommend Sandys. Sorry George. Its Attitude Attitude Attitude. |
