Hi Andy,

Sorry to say that you can't book Theatraki  in as a pack with plane from thr UK. But you can rent a seperate apparment at the entrance of  Theatraki. Mybe you remenber it. There joust to be a old man living there. It has been completly renovated and 10 steps away from the pool.
The only way so can stay there is book the plane and Theatraki seperate. You can ask Katerina if the appartment is free the period you want by sending a email to  apt_theatraki@yahoo.gr

Jo,

After the collapse of  XL/kosmar last year and the financial harm that it brought, the 'brittisch part" of the appartments are now put out in norway and sweden. However you can try to book a apartment directly, see note frome Katharina below. Pictures of the appartment you can see on theatraki hyves.

Every time we are in Kos, we are made exceptionally welcome by Thom, Katerina and Dimitri at their lovely apartments. Several of my friends have stayed here and are looking to return. If you have been caught in the recent chaos, please contact them. You are assured of a lovely stay at this friendly, family feel complex; which is close to the town, but far enough away to relax and let the world go by. You will not be disappointed !!!

Hello Phil, my friend Chris and her two grown up daughters are staying here for her second week when you arrive. Unfortunately, my husband & I will be flying back to Costa Lotta In The Rain (UK) on the Sunday you arrive. I've printed off some of these reviews for Chris and I know she can't wait. I hope you all have a fab holiday; which I'm sure you will.

hi to everyone visiting the theatraki studios soon. we arrive on saturday 28th july and cannot wait!!  we have been counting down since our first visit here at the same time last year. in answer to the previous question there were quite a few families there last year and the children seemed perfectly happy. there is a small playground area with a roundabout and slide and a small childrens pool next to the large pool.
there are plenty of sun loungers and the bamboo umbrellas provide well needed shade. there was a slight breeze there last year which was very welcome!  perfect location, just on the edge of the town. 10 minute walk (if that) from the main streets (just walk through the ruins opposite).
is anybody else going to be there at the same time as us? there are 4 of us, travelling from doncaster. as far as eating out is concerned, we never had a bad meal and everybody was so helpful. the food served at the pool bar is also excellent and the barbecue nights there were well worth the 10 euros. the air conditioning was 40 euros a week i think. we were on the ground floor and used it, but my brother and siter-in-law were on the 2nd floor and they said they didn't need it because of the nice breeze blowing through. all in all, we can't rate this place highly enough, hence our return visit! we hope to see you there and we'll put on another review when we get home (if we decide to come back that is!). bye for now.

We didn't actually stay at the Theatraki, as we have a house not too far away, but our friends did as they arrived on Kos a week before us in October 06. During that week, we returned to there after eating out and were made so welcome by Dimitris that even when our friends had left, we went back to the Theatraki bar where Dimitri would call a taxi for us to go back to our house.
The atmosphere here is lovely and the ambiance is guaranteed to keep you coming back, the staff really make you extremely welcome, I cannot praise the staff here enough, especially as we weren't even resident - but I hope this accolade will reassure anyone coming to Theatraki of the great time that awaits them.

Very well done to everyone.Mel & I look forward to catching up with you all again in May!!!!

One of the best breaks we have ever had. The Theatraki was lovely, very clean, friendly and welcoming staff, and one of the best places for chilling out around the pool and bar.

The location was great, just a short stroll from the town (short cut throw the ruins) but far enough out not to be disturbed at night.

This was our first trip to Kos town and I can't wait for another, hopefully to the same accommodation.

We stayed at the Thetraki Studios from the &th october for two weeks.  Our Studio was a great surprise, being bigger than I expected. Everything was very clean, comfortable beds and lovely bathroom, with bath and shower curtains.  Hot water was not always available, but I imagine in the Summer there is enough to go round.

The staff were friendly and the breakfasts very good and reasonably priced.  The location is as stated in the brochure.  A small mini market is over the road, but if you turn left out of the apartments, there is a large Supermarket about 200 yards away.

It really does only take a few minutes to get into the old town, and from there you can walk through the shopping streets to get to the harbour.  The best way into the old town is to turn right outside of the Apartments and about 100 yards on the opposite side of the road are some stairs with a minorette at the top.  Go up these stairs and you come to a square with a few restaurants, all reasonably priced.  Take the first right and you are in the shopping street.  Keep straight on and the harbour is a 10 minute walk away.

The Thetraki is certainly somewhere I will be going back to stay at in the future.

If you are going there make sure you feed the resident cats.

Caroline Deakin (September 26, 2006)

We have just returned from the Theatraki Studios in Kos Town and can honestly say this was the best holiday we have ever been on.  It had everything we needed.  The Theatraki was in a brilliant location, really clean and everybody was very friendly.  It has an air of relaxation about the place which is exactly what we needed.  Would definitely return and recommend to couples and families.
