REALLY LIKED THIS HOTEL ESPECIALLY FOOD, REALLY NICE HOTEL .STAFF WERE FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY GEORGIOS, ROOMS WERE CLEANED EVERY DAY IF YOUR A DOG PERSON YOU WILL GET THE COMPANY OF THE HOTEL DOG EIRRA AROUND THE BAR AREA OF AN EVENING SHE WAS REALLY FRIENDLY AND CUTE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN IF I VISITED KOS IN THE FUTURE.  |

A short bus ride from Kos Town, this hotel was chosen because of the gold awards given by Thomson and it lived up to it's name. So much so that we're going back this year. The gardens are a really nice place to lounge as we don't like bathing on the pool surround. The food was great and the staff charming. There are arranged activities but it's entirely up to you. Seems more suited to adults although there were some older children there.

Stayed at Platanista from 1st May, had fab time, hotel fantastic, food excellent, friendliest staff have ever met. Great pool area,plenty of sunbeds. Rooms cleaned every day, fresh towels and sheets every day. Was 1st day of season so very quiet, went with Thompsons and Yota our rep was brilliant she came to see us every day to make sure everything was ok. Waiters were to die for especially Theo and Spartak, and barman Nicos and entertainment manager Chris were gorgeous too!! Restaurant Manager Anna was very helpful and friendly.
Drinks 6 euros per cocktail in hotel about same as in tavernas. Used one particular taverna every day called Degli Amici on left hand side going into kos town, owned by Tony and Aneta, fab people. Next door Autoway car hire owned by Yanni and Katerina one of the best car hire places. (Say Hello to them for us from the 2 Brummie Lyns)
We had best holiday ever and will certainly be returning again this year!
