Yiannis Apartments

We went to Yiannis Apartments, Psalidi in September 2004, there was a group of us (4 couples), we had a great time. The apartments are quite basic but clean and have everything you need. The beach is a pebble beach but lovely. There are loads of trips available, a boat trip to the three islands is recommended, with some lovely beaches for sunbathing. The nightlife in Kos is good, loads of eating places. The people who run the apartments are great and bar food is available all day. The pool is lovely and kept very clean. The apartments next door have entertainment going on every night till late if you don't want to go to bed. I would recommend hire of a vehicle and go exploring as there are some lovely places to see.

| We have just returned from the Yannis apartments in Psalidi. Kos. It was our first time in kos and fell in love with it. The Yannis apartments are basic but clean and functional. The owners are fabulous; Anna, Mihalis and Paris all work very hard and will do anything for you. The pool is great, the beach is fantastic ( the simplicity of it is so appealing)the bar food is simple but good and we had the best holiday. We would definately go back tomorrow. If you are going to the Yannis apartments soon you are verylucky indeed. | ||||||||||

| Having just returned from two weeks in Yiannis Apartments I felt I had to comment on our holiday. It was our first Greek island holiday and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The accommodation was clean, adequate and comfortable, the staff were all amazingly warm, friendly and helpful, especially Irini and Michaelis!! They looked after us so well! It's a small 2* complex but has a bar where food is available from 8.30am - 2.30am, a great pool, it's close to Psalidi beach (pebbles), several good restaurants, tavernas and shops, two well stocked supermarkets and only a couple of miles out of Kos Town (5 Euro taxi ride or 1 Euro bus ride). We would definitely go again..........tomorrow!!!! | ||||||||||

| I've just got back from the yiannis today, it was really good for me cause i'm young and met loads of people. Its not the best accomodation but hey i had a fab holiday, and i didn't spend much time there. When i first arrived i just wanted some where nice to sit but we justm laughed at the apartment and the shower (if youve beem you will know what i mean!) The shower isn't far off a hole in the ground, but the staff are really nice and friendly. The shower was only to have a quick wash every night so it was ok for that. Power cuts are prone to the apartments often found myself getting ready in the dark! But a fab holiday and would probably go back! | ||||||||||

| The Yiannis Apartments are very basic, self catering is virtually impossible!The apartments are very noisy with people coming back from Kos town at 0400-0530 in the morning and flight arrivals at all times of day and night leading to the slamming of doors and furniture being moved ect!There is no entertainment on at the apartments.The poolside bar closes at around 0230 but stays allmost empty most of the early evening.The food in the local taverners we found to be below standard to other islands we have visited,allthough the Greek locals are very friendly! my overall impression is we wouldent return even if it was FREE.If i have missed anything out you would like to know feel free to e-mail me at brianatspagrove@ntlworld.com | ||||||||||

| I am going to Yiannis Aptmts in Psalidi in July - does anyone know them. I have been to Psalidi before but can't place the apartments. | |
