| My friend Gail and I stayed at "The Niridies Beach Hotel" 6-21 October. The Hotel is situated in a perfect location on the outskirts of Kos Town. The hospitality of the staff is second to none, as was the cleanliness of the hotel itself. Emerald the Manageress is a beautiful and wonderful person as is her brother Stavros. The genuine care and time afforded to each of the guests is something I have yet to experience in Britain not only by Petros, Amanda and Kiros but also Nicos who's family own neighbouring apartments. This is the third Dodeconese Island I have visited, and I CANNOT wait to return. My colleagues are now calling me "Shirley Valentine" as I feel so rooted there. My husband thinks I have fallen in love, not only with the Island but with someone else!! so strong are my feelings for the place!!!!. Any way, whoever may read this, don't think twice about Kos or the Niridies Beach, you will NOT be disappointed by either. If anyone has the email address to the hotel can you please supply to me as I have lost the one given to me. | ||||||||||

| although about 3k outside of Kos Town it was a nice stroll into the town along the coast road and past the marina although plenty of local buses or taxi if you didn't want to walk. Small shop next door at garage or supermarket 400m away along with selection of cafes and tavernas (highly recommend Bar/Bistro Europe 200m down the road. We stayed in the apartments which although very basic were clean. The hotel had a good bar and lounge area, was family run and staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the pool wasn't huge it was adequate with loungers and a pool bar which served simple snacks, the garden areas around the apartments were well maintained and lime trees lined the pathways. If you are looking for a quiet, restful holiday but not too far from action if you want or a good base from which to tour the island the Niriides is perfect. | ||||||||||
