Just got back from ilios apts in Tingaki. Brilliant holiday. Hello to Babyliss, Gabrielle, Vaseline & Hercules. (Nice one for lift to airport). Top pool bar service, never got a tan cos alway sat there! We're all hooked on Ouzo. Coming back next summer with all the crowd again. Could do with some entertainment in reception bar at night, but otherwise staff really friendly, not too far from main bar area. See ya!

we have just returned from another fab 2 weeks at the ilios and already the kids are begging for us to book up for next year, everybody made us welcome once again, the atmospher is still friendly with the staff always helpful, the hotel is looking a little tired in places but is still clean, had no complaints at all and think we could be returning next year.  A WORD OF WARNING TO HOLIDAY MAKERS, watch your luggage weight on your return, we were charged 72 euros for 8kg of excess baggage though we were underweight when we went out, let stuff behind and didnt buy anything, there was about a third of our flight charged for excess baggage and there was a nasty woman who took the money who took your tickets and said you pay or you dont fly! (she had my 8yr old son hysterical)

Just returned from 2 weeks at Ilios, excellent hotel but food appalling. We booked half board but had to eat out every morning and evening. Cold salty poor food.

Nice pool and staff but  the food let it down.

hi there just returned from the illios hotel tingaki this morning. this was our 4th visit and have already booked for next year. its a brill hotel with 2 lovely pools and a poolside bar. the only downside was we booked half board and the hotel caters for the germans. same breakfast for 7 days becomes a bit boreing.the staff are lovely and friendly. tingaki is lovely with great beaches and resturants. a special mention has to be given to rodinos resturant a lovely friendly place with the best food on the island.

Just returned from Great holiday at Ilios Hotel brilliant friendly staff only down side was half board restaurant food not catered for children at all and type generally German/Greek tastes but snack bar during day exact opposite superb food!!!! Location good and Tingaki good for families.

Just back from 2 brilliant weeks. The staff were very friendly. The hotel is off a quiet road. It is just a short walk from the bars and restaurants, the road could be a bit dark at night but not too bad.

just returned from the illios, intingaki was so gutted about leaving we all stayed up till 4am cos we didnt want to be going home the next day. The hotel is lovely and clean, staff will do anything to help and the atmosphere is brilliant. Both my kids aged 7 and 14 had their own set of friends andhad a wonderful time, hence so did we. Only 1 annoying thing was when a few people de cided to put towels on sunbeds the night before and they were brits ! but the night staff removed them, there was usually sunbeds available till 10am anyway so no need to reserve, all in all a fantastic holiday with great people and will definately return .

Hi Nikos, Dimitra, Babis, Mr and Mrs Ilios

It Pain here as Nikos likes to call me... thought I would add something nice for you all!!

The Ilios Hotel is the best ever, I have been going for the last 17 years and my mum and dad took me when I was eight and now I am taking my child there.  everything about Tingaki and the Ilios is fantastic, a lovely greek family run hotel.

Keep it real Nik

See you soon

the illios hotel is a lovely place to stay. 2 pools and a park for the kids. they could be more entertainment dont really cater for teenagers. just the usual pool tables and kareoke nights and footie on the big screen.great places to eat out in tingaki just a short walk from the hotel. i think they do all inclusive main season. we have been there twice and are going back again this year.

Looking for someone info please

Where exactly is the location of this hotel (I have stayed in Tingaki twice) - is it the beach end or up past the large supermarket. I stayed in the angela (across from Grand Salle restaurant) (up past bars heading towards large supermarket which was bout 5mins walk max).

Have looked for it before and never found it, thought it was just after large supermarket but couldnt see it.

Is the road leading to it quite dark at night

Thanks

just got back from a week in Tingaki, first time visit to Kos, stayed at the Ilios Hotel, lovely place situated just around the corner from the bar street. The hotel looked excellent for kids, with 2 pools dedicated to children and a kids club. As a couple we found it excellent too, 2 adult pools and a jaccuzi (although the latter had a definate lack of bubbles!) Moped/Car hire is a must, we had a fab time touring the island and got to see all the sites without having to pay excursion costs. Places we found the best were:- Zia, gorgeous view of the sunset and a very pretty little village. Thermes, u gotta take a dip in the hot spa there. Paradise beach, fab water sports. Hippocrates hospital (think it's called 'Asklepion') Tingaki itself is a lovely place, not too busy, but there are a few lively pubs on the street leading down to the beach. Some nice places in Kos town to visit, and most of the nightlife is there. We're gonna have to go back sometime coz we missed out on the naturist beach!!!
