Anna Studios and Apartments

This is our third time at these apartments, and as usual we had a great time, we were treated like long lost relatives. I am mystified with some of the comments on the site, that say they are bad and unfriendly, if you make the effort to talk to, and have a drink with Tony and Veronica, your holiday would turn from good to fantastic, dont be aloof ,the whole family are great. We will be back again next year, cant wait!!!! The Taverna Tsambala, which is down the road opposite the fire station is well worth a visit, the food is wonderfull and the service is good.

 Just back from Anna Apartments and can't wait to go back next year. Except then i'll be staying  TWO weeks. It was the BEST holiday ever and I go somewhere every year.  Such a relaxing place and Tony, Veronica, Bill & Jenny are just wonderful hosts, from the moment we arrived at one in the morning to helping us with a luggage on departure.  Veronica is a brilliant cook and Bill makes killer cocktails. With Tony for entertainment what more could you ask for! The rooms were lovely and bright and cleaned every day. It's so perfectly located with wonderful views. It caters for both young & old, families and couples. I'm home three weeks and still miss it!  Definitley, definitley, definitley returning next year. Might even try to fit in another week before October to help with the withdrawl symptoms.... 

My husband and I have been going to these studios for the last six years and have just booked to go again (You can now book on line through medhotels.com.). The apartments are in a quiet area away from the noise of Kos town but within easy reach walking, bus or  bicycle.  The pool is as always clean and the surrounding area lovely and peaceful. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, all you really need as Veronica cooks breakfasts and a fantastic range of bar snacks. Tonys efficient running of the bar ensures that there's always a chilled beer waiting after a hard days sun bathing.

  Have just got back from Anna appts,well, how can you give this any stars?.Yes, the family are ok, when they are not arguing with each other,but the room  was so basic and only cleaners 3 days out of 7.The could at least empty the bins,etc. 1 towel each, threadbare.Cooker faulty,but was sorted out by our rep.Kelly eventually.Tony was so rude, spoiled it for my wife,lots of times as we went in and out.(We did  not spend any time in the bar ther for that reson) He apoligised as we left,but too late. We have been to Kos many times,always S/C,so as to take in the culture of the locals,but how can these people claim a grade in your brochure.We really enjoyed our week in Kos but hated going back each evening to that place.As you will see, Kelly tried to get us a move,but we did not  want to be too much trouble as she is a nice Rep.We read the comments before we went on Anna Appts,so had not bargained for what we got.Veronica tries to please but feel she has a problem coping with Tony.So,never agian to Anna Appts. Hi,myself and my boyfriend Dave have just returned from staying at the Anna apartments.What a welcome and what a lovely place.Plenty of Greek charm and nothing is too much for the lovely Veronica,Tony and there beautiful daughter Jenny to do or help out with.I have stayed in Greece before but nothing can compare to here.The apartment was clean and bright with lovely views,a lovely walk or cycle to Kos town or the beach,the pool was spotless and what a lovely place to chill and have lots of fun.We will be back!

My husband and I have just returned from Kos where we had one of our best holidays ever.We were staying at the Anna Apartments.On our arrival we were greeted by Veronica,who made us feel instantly welcome and at home-despite it being late she offered us something to eat aswell as showing us the beautiful view of the sea and Turkey from our room.The following day we met Tony and Bill who, like Veronica couldn't do enough for us.
The apartments were clean and bright and have excellent views of the sea and the pool.The complex is 20 min walk from town or a lovely 10min cycle on a bike which Tony and Veronica happily arranged for us.Like everything at the Anna Apartments the bar is warm and friendly and the food is delicious.Greek night was fantastic!!The BBQ was delicious,the atmosphere terrific and without leaving your apartments you get to experience the true meaning of Greek hospitality.
Tony,Veronica,Bill,Anna and Jenny are a truly wonderful family who made our first visit to Greece a very memorable one.Their warmth,friendliness and genuine desire to see that you enjoy your holiday adds a special quality that is missing from many other holidays we have been on.
We will definitely be returning to the beautiful island of Kos and when we do the only place we will stay will be the Anna Apartments!!!See you all soon. Love Lisa and Mal xx

What can I say, the best apartments on the island. Tony, Veronica, bill,, Anna & little Jenny treat everyone as an extention to the family. Once you have been here you will want to return year after year. Many thanks for a wonderful two weeks, see you next year.

Hi tony and veronica if ur reading this me and my girlfriend just got back from a two week holiday and its was the best we have ever had the staff were amazing so friendly and made us feel so welcome it was definately a home away from home!!i would advise anybody to come on a holiday to these apartments

My two sisters Zoe, Lauren and i have just returned for Kos and Anna Studios and Apartments.  We all had such a wonderful time. The whole family made us feel extremely welcome and we all wish we could fly back!!!! I would like to say a massive thank you to Veronica, Toni, Billy, Anna and Jenny for being so warm, friendly and loads of fun! i hope we will be back to see you all soon! take care and enjoy the rest of your summer!  Best holiday ever.  the properietors are two of the nicest people we have met.  Made all my family 

extremely welcome.  The location was perfect.  The pool was clean and a good size,  there were plenty of sunbeds and an excellent bar and food service.  The apartments had a pool table, dart board and plenty of board games if you wanted five minutes out of sun with your family.  Tony the proprietor was a good pool player too.  We have a laugh from start to end and my two boys loved every minute too.  Carnt wait to go back soon,  it was fabulous.   Would  highly recommend the Anna  apartments.   Could have stopped there for months. Nice quiet and friendly place run by people who care about what they are doing - providing a service for customers.  The room was fairly large, basic and very clean.  Nothing seemed too much trouble for the owners (who live on site).  WE cannot understand why there have been poor comments, perhaps they expected 5 star accommodation for a 2 star price.  I would stay here again, its not far from the sea, it got a great view of Turkey and the islands and although its a 20-30 minute walk into the centre of Kos its an interesting walk.  We  have stayed in Greece many times and this place is exactly what you expect from Greek apartments, clean, basic, well run and great if you spend most of your time outside (which is the whole idea of a Greek holiday).  Do stay here you will not be disappointed but remember this is Greek accommodation not an international chain hotel resort.

I would like to say thank you again to Veronica and Tony. Peter and I stayed in the apartments in June, and thought we would go back for some sunshine before the Winter set in. When we arrived we were treated like long lost family, we were made to feel welcome. This time we booked the flight on the internet, and contacted the apartments separately, it worked like a dream, it is so easy to do and the flights were in the day, not in the middle of the night. If anyone is interested how to do this please contact me, I would be pleased to help, I also know some very good restaurants, and car hire facilities. Once again thanks and we will see you next year.

 stayed at the anna a few times over the last 2 years. tried to book again for august to be told by kosmar that the anna was fully booked, gutted is not the word i'd use but i was glad that the family were busy. i obviously booked in apartments not to far away and my first port of call was to visit the fantastic family who run the apartments. it was like coming home, to be greeted like one of the family is great. it was like i'd never been away. if you want excellent accomodation, food and to have the best time ever stay at the anna, i promise you wont  be disapointed!!!!!! i missed them on my last day, flights were changed at the last minute but i know i will see them next year. in fact guys i'm moving to kos in april so see lots more of me. oh and bill i owe you for drinks, forgot to pay you for them. hope university is going well. x

My boyfriend and I are just back from Kos which was our first holiday together and we couldnt have stayed in a better place.  We were supposed to be staying in different appartments but are so glad that we were moved to Anna (this was due to Kosmar double booking us!!).  If we hadn't been we wouldn't have met the lovely, friendly family who own the place.  Tony, Veronica, Jenny, Bill and Anna made us feel very welcome and their hospitality was fantastic - this made our holiday.  The Greek night was a highlight for us, it was a chance to have a Greek BBQ and see Veronica, Anna (and Jenny) do some Greek dancing which we all joined in with.  To top off the night, we played musical chairs which was a great laugh.

possibly the most friendliest place we've been to! we were messed about by Kosmar on arrival and weren't supposed to be at the Anna apartments, but we were made to feel extremely welcome by the family. if you would like to see for yourself, look at www.anna-kos.com . We couldn't have asked for a better holiday than the one that we have just had at the Anna.  Thank you Veronica, Tony, Bill, Anna and, of course, little Jenny.

We booked over the internet via the first resort.com, a dissaster! We had booked the Iris in Kos Town but were dropped off at the Iris Kardemena at 5:00am.  It was buzzing with drunken louts and the room absolutely disgusting.  However, we managed to get hold of the Kosmar Reps (absolutely lovely and helpful) and by 5:00pm we were at the Anna - what a relief!!!

The whole family made us feel so welcome that the terrible start to our holiday seemed miles away and once Tony had poured us our first Mythos of the week we were settled and didn't feel the need to wander very far for the rest of the week.

The rooms are great, very big and quirkily decorated with a shower room, balcony, kitchenette and air-conditioning.  We had a lovely view of the sea and the Turkish mainland.

The hotel and the pool and bar area are covered in flowers and plants.  Plenty of sunbeds by the beautifully cool pool for all and snacks and meals to die for, all prepared by Veronica and Bill.  You must have one of their Club Sandwiches - a legend!

What a supurb and relaxing week we had.  The family made everyone welcome and made sure that everyone who wanted to got to join in the fun - wheter it is just sitting around chating to each other, the amazing Greek Night, the best food we had all week, the sight of fully grown men playing musical chairs and pool competitions way into the early hours.  We have come away with friends that we will never forget.

The location is good too, Lambi beech is very quiet and only a short walk away and just on the edge of Kos Town for it to be near enough to walk to but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle.  Plenty of restaurants to eat in at night and local supermarkets to stock up in, but be warned, the shop opposite the hotel is v.expensive and to be avoided.

The next time we visit we will book direct via the Anna (new website up and running soon) and book our flights through a reputable airline.  The Kosmar reps were great but the 22 hour flight delay on the way home was horrific and we're told that Air Scandic, who are used by Kosmar, are regular offenders.  Truely the worst airline I have ever flown with and when ice started to form on the inside of the cabin on the way home we were seriously worried.

So thank you again Verionica, Tony ("bloody hell!"), Bill, Anna and Jenny.  Lots of love to you all. We hope that we see you soon.

we arrived at anna studios early hours of sunday morning it was very peacefull and quiet . we went to our room which was very clean and tidy. we had a few hours sleep then went to the bar for some breakfast on entering the bar we were greeted and made very welcome from veronica and other guests . we then went for a swim at the pool  which was very clean andcool with pleanty of sun loungers to go around. throughout the day we met other members tony and bill who also made us feel very welcome and relaxed . during our two week stay the owners made feel more and more relaxed any request we made was never a problem and they could not do enough to help us to enjoy our holiday . during the stay we ate at anna studios and around the town on each return we were invited in for a drink and to join in the fun. we also went to a greek night for only 13 euros each where we had loads of food which was topped up several times with different salads and meats then some some greek dancing which was great fun if you joined in . so if anyone is thinking of going to kos town anna studios is the place to go. so thanks to tony;bill;veronica.;anna and jenny for making this one of our best holiday p.s. we will be back next year thanks again sean;jackie;daniel and tim from hereford england.

On arrival in the middle of the night to the studios obviously our first impressions were the ones that counted. We thought the building was lovely with the plants growing around it. Needed to rest from our late flight we were not disturbed at all and ended up not waking until the afternoon. Veronica and Tony were excellent, they were so friendly and made us feel really welcome. The pool was not freezing, its what you expect in a hot country, a dip to cool you down, what would be the point in having a warm pool in such hot weather! We found the greek night a great laugh, watchin the family dance and then everyone got the chance to join it, It was a great way to spend the night and enjoy the evening meeting people staying in your accomodation. Every morning we were greeted by all members of the family which made it lovely. From the beginning to the end, this holiday was brilliant and we've been there twice now, it wouldnt suprise me if we returned. such a lovely family and such a lovely area what more could you want from a holiday?

 This is our first trip to Kos and we have had an absolutely crackin time!! We highly recommend Anna Studios for somewhere to stay. Veronica and family have made us feel extremely welcome and looked after us from the moment we arrived.They are the best hosts i have come across when going on holiday - anything we ask for is no trouble...we love veronicas greek salads and hanging around the bar feels like a home from home!!!
