We came back from staying at the pelagos in july/aug 2006 we thought it was excellent. The hotel itself was fantastic rooms cleaned everyday, bedding and towels changed every day if you required. You also got provided with pool towels, safety deposit boxes free of charge too. All the staff were very friendly and helpful (especailly vassiles). There was entertainment on during the day and evening ,quizes, games, waterpolo etc and evenings karaoke, greek night, quiz night and lots more!! we also enjoyed a few games of tennis which was 7euros for an hour. The location of the pelagos was alittle out from the bars and restaurants of Lambi and Kos Town but we walked to them (about 40mins to kos Town) although the bus stop is right on your door step. we visited the BLUE PHEONIX (just off lambi beach) a few times for something to eat as the food was excellent and the staff very friendly.
We also hired bicycles 2 of the days (only 10 euros a day for 4 bicycles) we rode to Tingaki the first day and the next time ventured further to Marmari where we found the Go-karting track we all loved that. It was a pleasant ride with a nice breeze and very flat.
I can honestly say it was a fantastic holiday and the the pelagos is the nicest place ive stayed. we couldnt fault it. would definately go back!!!
we didnt want to come home![]()

| I am so excited my Husband and I and our 6 year old son are going to Pegalos Apartments Kos on the 24th August with our bestest Mates and their daughter who is turning 13 out there. My question is this. Any ideas what we could do for a 13th birthday. What is the average meal cost and drinks. Roll on the 24th August. Thanks in advance for your help. PS will update on what we thought. | |

Just got back from 2 weeks at the Pelagos and had a fantastic time! We were in self catering (yes we had a kettle!) and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel was one of the cleanest Ive ever been to and the staff very helpful (just watch out for vasilis the bar man - see through the charm - likes to humiliate his staff in front of customers and not someone you'd want as an enemy). Get out early for those sunbeds...and dont get too close to the pool as the water polo games in the afternoon will not leave you dry!
We found the walk into town took as 45 mins at a good pace, so I wouldnt recommend walking it in high heels! We ended up hiring a bicycle for 3 euros a day and cycling into town every night.
As a fitness fanatic I have to say the gym was not a gym
. It was a small room covered in mirrors to give the look of a huge gym...but only had 2 old exercise bicycles that made a sound like they were going to explode, one old running machine, a kind of step machine that you would by for £15 from argos, one of those multi-gym resistance machines only one person can use that you cannot get full extension on and the cables would snap under any heavy weight...and oh 2 sets of dumbells - the heaviest being 2.5kg. Not to mention no working air con. But i suppose you are on holiday and all...but if you are planning to continue training - you have been warned !!!Everything else was perfect!

We have just come back from the Pelagos. As a group of male friends looking for a drinking holiday we found it a bit out of the way from bar street but the acomodation and friendliness of the staff more than made up for that (especially as they were willing to put up with us)!. I would give it a definate 10/10. If you are taking your children with you the staff always there to help and think of ways to keep them entertained! If you are looking for somewhere to eat look no further than next door. We didnt find this place until the last day but the food was v. nice and quite cheap! We were all sad to leave this beautiful island and hotel and look forward to returning

My father (78), myself and my son (21), have just returned from the Pelagos Aparthotel, (15th – 22nd June 2005). The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Indeed, I would just like to say a big thank you to all the staff there, especially Katarina the Day Receptionist, Ionnis the Night Receptionist, Tundi (Maria), the Entertainment/Activities Organiser (if I had a daughter, she would be it), Hussain and Vasillias the bar staff (whom I didn’t get chance to say goodbye to The Pelagos has a lovely free form pool and bar/seating area for relaxing around day or night. The rooms are clean, well sized, well furnished and maintained to a very high standard. Although the Pelagos is just outside The food at the Pelagos is of a very good standard, with b&b and half-board on offer and can not be faulted. If you are self-catering you can eat at the restaurant as and when you choose or visit the min-market in the hotel or another supermarket just on the next block etc. As my father is rather elderly we opted for the half-board and were not disappointed. They also do special Greek nights and Italian nights, offering a chance to sample different cuisines. There is excellent entertainment on offer, ranging from quiz nights (if you wish to take part), to a greek organist, greek dancing, belly dancing and a fakir (a man who walks on hot coals/fire eater), which I had been looking forward to watching all week and missed due to being held up returning from a day trip to Turkey – Hmmph!. These were all of a high standard and were well worth staying at the hotel to eat your evening meal and to watch, or just to watch sitting around the pool/bar area, as the entertainment is all-inclusive. They also had daily entertainment for children and 20 mins aqua-aerobics every afternoon for all the people who had eaten too much the night before! There is so much to see and do on and around Kos, that we didn’t manage to cover everything that we wanted to in one week, i.e. visiting Zia, I usually like to visit a different place each year and have never returned to the same place twice. However, we had such an enjoyable and relaxing holiday at the Pelagos, that I would not hesitate to recommend the Pelagos to anyone and will certainly be making an exception by returning there, hopefully next year!
