September - (Best Time to Visit)

C J

September is absolutely the best time to go. All the excursions were being discounted as it was nearing the end of the season. I only paid 10 Euros for a return trip to Turkey! Weather was goregous, warm enough for those lazy days on the beach and not too hot for walking around in the middle of the day. Thoroughly recommend it.

3 Island Cruise - (Kos Excursions)

C J

Booked to go on the Poseidon, but ended up going on the Nikita as there weren't enough bookings. We actually ended up going to four islands as the Captain had just had a baby so he wanted to light a candle on this quaint little island with a really pretty church. It was absolutely gorgeous. Lunch time was lovely when we were served perfectly cooked Soulvaki with Tzaki and Greek salad with some baguette. The day was fantastic value for money at only 25 Euros and all the islands we stopped at were very picturesque.

Day trip to Turkey - (Kos Excursions)

C J

Great day out. As i get a bit sea sick I decided to go on the boat that took 40 minutes, but I suppose it really took 1 hour. The journey was fine, not a problem. We only paid 10 Euros for a return trip but the only niggling this is that we were never told you had to pay all these extras at passport control. I suppose it was another 7 or so Euros per person. Bodrum is lovely though and the shop staff are hilarious. Very friendly and enjoy haggling. You can pay for everything over there in Turkish Lira, Sterling or Euros so no need to change your money. Was a lovely day out.

Kos Town - (Resorts on Kos)

C J

Kos Town was one of the nicest resorts I have ever been to. It has something for everyone - families, young groups and couples. It was absolutely beautiful at night with all the boats lit up and sitting in the square overlooking the marina was awesome. There is bar street for the younger crowd and they even had cute little music cafes tucked away in the backstreets. The ruins were really interesting and totally free and the castle was good to look around for an hour or so. Its not your usual bucket and spade resort, it has culture and history to it. I spent two whole days of my holiday looking around and still didn't have time to see everything. Would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, its a gem!

Libra - (Tour Operators on Kos)

C J

I thought Libra were a very good value for money tour operator. The service from our rep was second to none and she was totally honest about their excursion prices being more expensive than booking in town. She spent a good hour of her time answering our questions and even got a bus timetable for us as we didn't want to rent a car. Transfer was fine, no problems there and accommodation was exceptional value for money. Although our flight was delayed on the outbound it was nothing to do with Libra, and our return flight home actually left early. So pretty good! Do not hesitate to book with them as they are a very reputable company.
