Travelled to Kos for the first time, and stayed at these apartments. Having previously read some of the comments listed, was looking forward to a good holiday. We had a GREAT!! holiday.

First surprise was that they have recently added a swimming pool and pool bar. Then we got the complimentary honey, yummy! Then we got to know the family that run these apartments, what nice people they are, nothing was too much trouble and very friendly. Would definately recommend the Yiannis to anyone, but make sure there is enough room left for us, we will be back!!

 Had several meals here the first two weeks of June, never had a bad one. Portions are very large and food good quality, service excellent. Can recommend the Bouyourdi (not sure of spelling) starter, if you like feta cooked with peppers and garlic and olive oil (now i can taste it).

 nice location with good views. Food very good so was the service. worth a visit. House Kokino (Red) wine very pleasant.

Surprised to see no new postings for these superb appartments, we will be calling in to see the family at the end of August. Can't wait to say hello and soak up the sun by the pool.

Looking forward to many wonderful meals here from the end of August. Mouth watering already.

Definately lived up to expectations. The family are all wonderful people, and really make you feel at home.

Great beach a little way out of Kefalos, and mainly used by non brits.

Having read the earlier comment about Kleftiko we decided to give it a go. I couldn't agee more, it was absolutely fabulous.

Very nice restaurant, very friendly staff who enjoyed my attemps at speaking Greek. Would definately go again next time we are in Kefalos.

 Good posibilty of daughter and grandaughter moving to Zakynthos next year, so might be tied up a little with the move and settle them in. But will be back there as soon as possible, more like home than the uk is these days  . I decided we don't get enough holiday time to visit all the islands we like, may have to retire early and live the dream  

We have just booked to return to the Yiannis, can't wait to see all the family again.. Looking forward to some honey for breakfast.

Just back from 2 week stay at the Yiannis apartments. For those that have not been before I can thoroughly recommend these apartments as excellent.... The whole stay is made so nice by the family that run these apartments, they make it their task to make your stay with them enjoyable. Anyone that has been before will know what I mean. 

Looking forward to the end of June when we will be back at the Yiannis again.  

 The new season is about to start, may we wish Yiannis & Sevvi our good wishes and looking forward to seeing them at the end of June.

Hi Terry, when are you guys arriving at Yiannis? only 18 sleeps for us!!!

First visited this restaurant last year when on a visit to Kardamena, my initial thoughts were wow! This was soon backed up by our meals. Very nice surroundings, good service with real customer satisfaction. Would have no worries about recommending to anyone visiting Kardamena.

When we were in Kos again this year we made a point in visiting the Avli once again, and were not dissapointed, same as above. 

I think you are refering to the Afentoulis apartments, they are set back a bit from the road.
