Just came back from here, we spent a week in total, me and my boyfriend (ages 32 and 33), and it was a very very nice place, clean, spacious and quiet. It has recently been renovated, so has that nice new feeling. The pool was quiet most days and very easy to get a lounger no matter what time of day. We met English and Dutch here, both equally friendly. I had read reports that the pool strictly closes at 6, but this wasnt the case, people were still lounging at 7 on some evenings. The family were pleasant, we were given a room with infamous reviews about the dodgey air con, but after requesting a change, we were given a room with a pool view, so were very happy. Beer in the bar is cheaper than most bars in the resort. Will definately recomend this place to anyone, and will go back if we ever decide to revisit Kos (it was lovely, but theres so many places to see in the world, we tend not to go back somewhere twice) Go to 7 days bar and see Irini -she is mad and lovely! (if you go with Kosmar, you may have your welcome meeting here) and go to Margarita bar which is up past the main supermarket (heading away from beach) on the right, a little jewel owned by Lefte, the nicest, funniest and most sincere chap we have ever met! Also note that this hotel is actually called Kaloudis, so do a search under this name too, it does have its own website.

The apartment was clean and enough space for a family off 4, and the pool area was lovely.
The family who ran the hotel did not smile the whole 2 weeks, Tony the head off the family did not charge you the same price for a round off drinks in the evening once.
You had to be up before 8am, to get a bed by the pool that day.
This Accomodation is mainly booked by the Dutch who are not the friendliest lot.
The air con for the 2 weeks was 140 euro the most we have ever paid anywhere.
Our children (age 7 & 9) where told off in the pool for making to much noise at 3 in the afternoon.

Oh my gosh! I have left recent posts, on the second page. I love this hotel! I was so young, I am now 10
God, but do I have memories of Kos! A few of the best years of my young, short life were spent there!
I wonder what it is like now.. Anyone been recently? For the past 3 years we haven't gone on holiday but this year we went to Rhodes [Sun Palace Hotel] which was great. It was a change, normally in Kos I was used to entertaining myself, and going out to eat. I remember walks beside the pool with my Baby Annabell Doll and my Mum, tehe! I also remember we used to sit beside the pool (Me and Baby Annabell!) and I used to dip her feet in..
Hey hey hey! You never know, maybe when I'm older I'll be going to Kos! Just got my 11+ results, HOPE TO GO IN THE SUMMER TO KOS! Haven't been for AGEES Oh well, won't you be glad to see me back (hopefully!) The only reason we went to Rhodes was because my friend, who I was going with and her mum were used to entertainment, and at Kos, its normally very quiet, just me and my family. So this time we set off to Rhodes! Which was fantastic, but then again I probably can't remember how fantastic Kos was!
Anyway Big Up to THALIA AND VICKY! Yay, the best girls there! Oh, but now, don't take this the wrong way! I like the rest of the family too!
WOO I'LL BE BACK !
Lots of love,
Julia..
Ps. YOU ROCK! | |

We spent 2 weeks in August this year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The Irini 2 apartments are spotless, well equiped and very spacious. They are cleaned daily and towels were changed 3 times during our stay.
The pool is kept clean, there are plenty of beds... no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a bed. The pool bar caters for drinks and snacks, and our apartment was only a stones throw away.
Tingaki is a quiet resort. A main road lined with bars and restaurants. Not many shops really but a nice resort. The beach is a 5 min walk from the apartments and is lovely. Very clean and has a lovely breeze.
All restaurants are fine. We ate in a different place every night and never had a disappointing meal.
Before our meal we would enjoy a 2 euro cocktail at the Karma bar where Nico was very friendly and became "God" to our son Jack!
Have a lovely holiday... you won't be disappointed with Tingaki. ![]()

My husband was ill this year and Vikki took us to the hospital - no problem at all. I only wish all the guests who stay there would appreciat their hard work and honesty!!! Roll on September when we will all meet up there again. ![]()

We just got back this morning and the apartments were great. The pool is cleaned every night at 6 and all the surrounding area hosed down. The room was cleaned 6 days a weeks, bins emptied every day and towels and bed linen changed twice. Safe boxes only cost 24€ for 2 weeks and most apartments have aircon - if not you can hire fans. Granted the owner was a bit of a misery guts but he was in reception from 9 every morning and was still there way after midnight every night. On airport days he even gets up in the middle of the night to show guests to their rooms. A tip though - if you do have a late flight home DON'T wait until the Saturday morning to book your room, see the lovely girl on reception on Friday evening as they only have 2 or 3 rooms that they move you to - this costs 25€. You can keep your own room until 6pm for 15€ though if you don't need a late late room. And lastly take loads of mozzy stuff the locals say that hey are particularly bad this summer.
Enjoy your holidays and visit Glenda, the girls and Miley the parrot in the Beer Garden for the best night out with kids.
