| My two friends and I were bowled over by the fantastic views and relaxed, laid back atmosphere we found when we arrived. Just the place for a relaxing week by the pool, gentle strolls along the harbour and seafront and the odd cocktail (or several). The accommodation is ok but a bit on the small side, the shower was an education (don't try to shave your legs ladies or you may need assistance to get yourself extricated}! But the rooms are clean and the pool and gardens are very well maintained. Dimitri, the manager, had his moments! Very friendly but also very opinionated especially regarding German property buying in the area and the travel company fully booking the apartments leaving none available for regular visitors to book direct. We felt a little uncomfortable with his remarks, especially because we booked at the very last minute and got a really cheap deal (a third what many of the other guests paid at full price). He didn't like this much and made it quite clear several times. Overall I would recommend the Albatross as an ideal place for a chill out, no loud music or louts. Not much to do with kids though, its much more of a grown up kind of resort and take Dimitri with a pinch of salt (just a grumpy greek) just remind him of who pays his wages!!!! | ||||||||||

The staff at the Albatros apartments were extremely helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough for us, especially Dimitri the manager. A fantastic location right oposite the harbour and a small beach. The apartments are very quiet and peaceful and we would highly recommend them if you are looking for a holiday away from it all.![]() | ||||||||||

We visited at start of season, Apartments very clean, pool too. Cooking facilities very limited, eating out we found to be the best option and went to a local cafe/restaurant called Sabastians for breakfast and evening meals.
My son whos 10 tried out all the menu and loved it, very friendly place.
Excursions with rep/first choice were pricey,we found the local booking office which
was good value and service.
I would reccomend the Albatross to Adults wanting a quiet non action holiday, with lovely views!
Greek people were great with tourists, Its just not the right accomodation for us as a family!
(Alex a previous manager there is really missed ) |
