Just returned from a lovely, lovely holiday at Club Akti Hotel with my family age ranges from 15 months, 14 yrs, 16 yrs, 18 yrs, 33yrs 36 yrs and 60 yrs.
We all gave this hotel a resounding thumbs up particularly after reading the reviews. One woman preferred watching DVD's in Memories Bar,(clearly not a woman for enjoying good food, wonderful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere.)
Teenagers enjoyed using 'The Akti Bus' to get in and out of Kardamena, I enjoyed the walk into Kardamena, along the sea front when the weather wasn't too hot. Baby loved every minute in the pools and we all enjoyed the variety of food available. Only one complaint: The plastic glasses for the drinks around the pool were too small!!!! | ||||||||||

| Akti offers good all inclusive deals that most people would jump at but
dont be fooled..food is dire and it really isnt an all inclusive
deal(many restrictions) ..really just a full board with some perks. You have a small percent change of actually enjoying your holiday, so if this is your only holiday this year dont waste it by going here. We should have just gone to self catering apartment but i admit i was lured by the all inclusive deal and it really was a great price we got but we paid highly for it by not enjoying our first holiday together. We made the best of it but i want to make sure noone else spends their hard earned money on this con. | ||||||||||

Glen, Me and my friend stayed at Akti in June. It's really nice, clean and friendly. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Food gets a little repeatitve (potatoes, rice and pasta seem to be a favourite) but is cooked and tasty. They have a kebabary bit some nights. The food tags made us chuckle (chicken cary!!) silly i know! It's 7 kilometres out of kardamena center, but there is a free bus service into town on a night , last bus goes at 10pm. A taxi back costs 6.50 euros. We went out every night, got the 10pm bus in and taxis back were always reliable. Alternatively you can get the hotel reception to order you a taxi into town if you dont fancy the bus. Nightlife is wicked, drinks arent expensive, wherever you go down bar street is good but definitely go in the kings arms, that's wicked and try brothers!
Akti has it's own private beach, with a watersports centre where you can hire a pedalo, jet ski,windsurf, go water skiing, fly fish, extreme ringos, parascending. You can hire quad bikes, motorbikes or bicycles opposite the hotel entrance and cars from in reception.
Hope that helps. You'll have fun whatever you do, it's impossible not to in kardamena!! We're going back next year and will be stopping at Akti again.

 WE WE STAYED AT THE CLUB AKTI IN SEPT 2004 WITH OUR THREE KIDS.IT WAS BRILL.THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD ALTHOUGH ABIT REPETITIVE,THE ANAMATION STAFF WERE GREAT KIDS HAD A BALL THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME WE WERE ALL INCLUSIVE I WOULDENT GO SELF CATERING AGAIN.THE WALK INTO KARDAMENA ALONG THE BEACH WAS GREAT.THE ONLY DISSAPOINTING THING WAS THAT THERE WAS,NT ANY WASHING MACHINE FACILITIES,WITH HAVING THE 5OF US.WAS A BIT OF ATEST.WE HIRED SOME QUADS REALLY RECOMMENED THIS.ONE OTHER THING THAT WAS ANNOYINGING WAS THE AMOUNT OF FLIES THEY WERE EVERYWHERE.APART FROM THISIT WAS REALLY GOOD WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WITH A FAMILY.WE MET SOME REALLY NICE PEOPLE ASWELL.WELL BE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR WITH OUR FRIENDS. | ||||||||||

just got back from club akti hotel. travelled may 28th to june 12th. overall we thought this hotel/complex was okay. the food although repeatative was okay. you can have snacks such as ham and cheese toasties, chips, pizza and ice cream in between meal times from the snack bar. the hotel is a little out the way of everything but you can use the two other hotels if you fancy a change of scenery. we hired a jeep for 4 days from the man who has a desk in reception. we went to the waterpark and thermal springs and the island is quite small so you can manage to see what kos has to offer in 4 days. one thing we noticed while at the hotel is that people in general are very very rude. when ordering a drink instead of asking for i.e 2 glasses of cola PLEASE they will just say "2 cokes" which annoys the hell out of the staff. so just remember to use your manners and you will get treated a lot nicer. the animation team are fanastic with kids but if you havent got kids like us i wouldnt bother going to see the shows they are mainly for children. if anybody wants any further info from someone who's been there then drop me a line at careys25@aol.com and i will try to help you  | ||||||||||

| club akti is probably a hotel that will visit every year the people are friendly and the atmosphere is nice the apartments were cleaned every day and the night life is kept to a minimal for people who wish for a quite holiday | ||||||||||
