| this is by UK standards no where near a four star hotel. We were dissapointed with the quality not even a hair dryer was available in the room. The bar had no normal type of mixers for the sprits ie Tonic or tomato juice etc. There was a power cut while we were there and we found that a number of the emergency lights did not work,the carpet in the hall way's was torn with pieces missing the hot water was only tepid it took some 20 minutes to fill the bath with the hot supply only the room furniture was of a poor standard and it lacked draw space.If the hotel management paid as much attention to the building maintenance as they do to the landscape then they may have had a better hotel.In my opinion this hotel is in need of major refurbishment.The staff however were very good the food was OK but we will not be returning. |
