Myros Hotel - (Accommodation in Tingaki)

.. Appartments were basic, but very clean and the maids were very good. Very quiet location, about a 10-15 minute walk from Appartments to the main Tingaki Strip, but this was a nice walk alongside the beach. You must see the sunset over the Sea (at approx 8.20pm) Pool Bar was good, with a nice English lady, Teresa running it. She only worked until 5pm which was a shame, as she had bags of personality and two lovely little dogs. The Reception Bar then opened 5pm until late, but had no atmosphere, so didn't use it much. The Manager, a German lady called Silka, was also lovely, and would give as much information about the island / resort as she could. Both Silka and Teresa were able to change Euro Travellers Cheques for you at the hotel. The Pool was lovely and there always seemed to be spare sunbeds when we wanted them (early July). The surrounding grounds around the Apartments were really nice too. All in all, a nice place to stay! .

Tingaki Beach - (Beaches on Kos)

Beach was great - Sand fine, clean beach, except for a bit of seaweed at the tide line. Red and White Sunbeds opposite the J&M Supermarket were really good (looked after by a really nice Danish lady). Not too close to each other and really comfortable. Sea was lovely and clear - but you did have to wade through some dead seaweed floating, to get out to it. Most days it was comfortable to sunbathe as there was a nice breeze which cooled you down - some days that was quite a stong wind, but still nice to sit in.
