Angela Aparthotel - (Accommodation in Tingaki)

Chris F

We have just got back after staying in the Angela for two weeks. Niki the owner is a great lady who is always friendly, I would well recomend going to her BBQ if they have it while your their as you get loads of food plus as much wine as you want till 12 for 15 euros.
Take your own toilet roll as they only supply the first roll plus the sink and hot plate you get is very basic, and they dont supply any cleaning pads or a dishcloth.
The room was cleaned each day but they have a card in the wall for turning on the power which the cleaner pulls out slightly to save power so after a day on the beach the room is hot as the air conditioning is off so have a word with niki and she will stop doing it. A supermarket 100 meters up the road is expensive their is one on the road to kos town which is half the price.
Dont book the trips with the rep as a travel ageny on the other side of the road and 250 meters towards the beach is nearly half the price, its called Theorakis Travel and is English owned ask for rich or sharron.

Dana - (Restaurants in Tingaki)

Chris F

we went to Danas for breakfast each day as they would give us free sunbeds which they owned outside the resterant as it is based on the sea front. In the evening it gets busy best to go after 9. We found the meals fine. a meal for two with drinks was about 20 euros.

July - (Best Time to Visit)

Chris F

we went to tingaki for two weeks starting on july 19th the first week was great as their is a nice breeze which drops at night but towards the end of the second week the winds stopped which we were told is normal then it gets very hot too hot to lay in. next year we will go back but for the first two weeks of july not the last two.
The breeze is stronger towards the salt lakes (dont go their you get bitten alive) as you walk onto the beach go right about 100 meters by a lifeguard tower, their is no sea weed and the sunbeds are only 2.50 euros and the breeze is just right.
