Ate like Lords at Piggeeez, English Bacon - mmmmmmm - huge portions, real Pukka Pies, Sunday Dinners brilliant - will be going back next September 2007 and Piggeeez is definately on the menu.

Tingaki Resort - (Resorts on Kos)

Paula - I have stayed at the Marianna Studios for the past five years and find them to be OK. They are spacious but basic, however you only need a base really and they are quite adequate for that. Enjoy - we are returning September this year - have been going to Kos for the past 17 years and never get tired of it.

Elaine - Six years ago we stayed in Kardemena, but came back to Tingaki most nights by taxi and it cost us 25 euros - one way then, so I would think that it could be nearer to 35 euros each way now, if not more. Enjoy. Mascot bar is FAB and usually banging until around 4.00 in the morning, later if you are prepared to stay there.

Vassils - (Restaurants in Tingaki)

Vassils restaurant will be perfect for you, you can while away the entire evening enjoying brilliant food at reasonable prices. May be a little more expensive than some of the other restaurance in Tingaki, but of a much higher quality that the rest. We have been going to Tingaki for 17 years, and most nights we eat at Vassils, the waiters are extremely courteous and attentive, but will NEVER EVER rush you until you are ready. During the day we always use TAKA TAKA MAM just by the fountain by the beach, there is always a friendly welcome there and they are similar to a cafe for snacks, gyrol, beefburgers, omelettes (to die for) etc, etc.

We are going again in September and will be at both of the above on several occasions, hope you enjoy your holiday and relax at both VASSILS and TAKA TAKA MAM.

Please do not worry you are going to have an absolutely fabulous time. Tingaki is the best resort on Kos.

The beach is second to none - the beds are very comfy for all day sun bathing. The restaurants are very good - our favour is Vassilis on the main road, almost opposite Mascot Bar. The bars are a wide choice, you can have a quiet drink watching the world go by or you can descend on Mascot Bar and party, party, party till around 4.00a.m.

There is another free website that is worth checking out and it is www.justkos.co.uk. This one actually gives you a breakdown and reviews on individual accommodation, restaurants, bars etc and also has pictures on it - well worth a visit.

We are returning again this September and can't wait. Believe me - once you have been to Tingaki you will get the bug and keep on returning.

Everyone there is so friendly and can't do enough for you - and that is everywhere - the shops, the bars, the restaurants - everywhere.

We were there at the same time as your party, whilst we did not stay at the Mythos Apartments, we have stayed there previously. But I must say that the tables on the evening meal for your wedding party looked absolutely amazing, as did yourself and all your guests. Everything looked beautiful and perfect and I know Costa was extremely anxious throughout the evening to ensure everything went smoothly for you all and I believe he did a good job. Congratulations on your wedding. A friend who was also with us, her brother is getting married next year and on the strength of seeing your party is going to suggest that her brother gets married in Kos and holds his reception at Mythos as well.

Mythos Apartments - (Accommodation in Tingaki)

We are not staying at Mythos, but eat most nights at Vassillis Restaurant, and usually come around back, after our meal, to enjoy a drink at the bar with you and have a good laugh and pleasant drink and we hope that we will still be welcome to do so again when we return in September 2009. You know us quite well, Tina, Rita, Nicola and we will be accompanied by Katie and Anne (two nurses) who have stayed at Mythos a couple of times before.

Katras Hotel - (Accommodation in Tingaki)

I have been going to Tigaki for the past 18 years and have stayed at probably all the apartments and studios there, but have to say that Katras are exceptionally large apartments compared to all the others. I have also posted many comments on Just Kos/Just Greece site, but have never found the Katras Hotel come available to make comments before. Believe me you won't be disappointed, they are exceptionally clean, spacious, proper bath and shower (with shower curtain) bliss (you know what I mean if you have stayed in Greek apartments before). Microwave, cooking rings, television, air conditioning and perfectly situated within a couple of minutes walking to the beach. Michael is the most polite, very accommodating, lovely person and nothing is too much trouble.
