Caravan Restaurant - (Restaurants in Kos Town)

Jan R

As a regular guest to the greek islands Crete, Rhodes and most recently now, Kos ; I must say that finding a better restaurant, with cheaper prices, better service and a personal better host than on the "Caravan" in Kos, is impossible! Hassan is, together with his wife and family, some of the finest and nicest people we've ever met. I've been 32 times in Crete, since 1988, but I've never found anything like the "Caravan". This restaurant therefore comes highly recommended from us and all the food here is exellent! Try out Hassan's special Bekri Meze, either with pork or chicken, it's unbelievable!Kali orexi, friends! Try it out, Hassan won't disappoint you!

Coming to Kos for vacation, means lot's of rest, good food and drinks! We've travelled to Greece since 1985 and this restaurant, "Old River" in Kos is one of our favourites. Joseph, the owner, and his lovely family welcomes you on the best way possible!
The menu here is big, with a great variety of meals to choose from. If you're a fan of Kalamari{squids}, they can be enjoyed at it's best here, fresh, from end of september/start of october. The Tzatziki they have here is absolutely the best there is! One of our favoutite main courses is greek, and called ADANA. Contains three big meatballs{called KEFTEDES}, laid on top of three garlic roasted pieces of bread, garlic sauce, served together with rice, baked potatoe and chips! Absolutely delightful! We could go on and on, describing all the courses in the menu, because we've been through 90% of them! The food, atmosphere, drinks, fun & jokes, everything served and provided for by Jopseph and his lovely family, will for sure benefit and improve your holiday in Kos! And you will always come back here, a piece of "Old River" will forever stay inside you!

Pavlos - (Restaurants in Kos Town)

Hauling waiters, urging you to sit down and have a meal, can be to much sometimes. In this place it was! At the end it almost became annoying. The food we ordered was not as expected. We ordered swordfish for us, and spaghetti bolognese for the kids. The fish was kind'a wet, like fried in to much oil, and was not at all as expected. The spaghetti was almost cold and not thoroughly cooked. No, we're sorry to say so, but we hated it! The waiters were everywhere else exept at our table as we struggled to ask for the bill! Bad service, bad food and average prices!

Sorry about that little mistake of not ticking the right box, everything is exellent here: The food, service and the prices!
Just try it out, it won't disappoint you!

Imperial Hotel - (Accommodation in Kos Town)

Jan R

Absolutely one of the best hotels in Kos!The owners, Nizza and Stamatiados, runs the hotel together with their newly wed daughter Irene and their sons Adonis and Mikalis. We,ve stayed at lot's of different hotels during the years, but this one we feel is of the best kind. The staff here is always friendly, the bartender Yorgos a bit crazy, like a bartender is supposed to be, the pool-attendant Edmond always has a smile ready.Good prices, very nice location, not to noisy and still very close to the center of the city! We will always choose Imperial when we go to Kos, they're simply the best!
