Pizza House Koala - (Restaurants in Kardamena)

Elaine S

This place is brilliant. I have just returned home with my partner Paul and we visited Koala's several times during our stay. I highly recommend the cheesebread and the crepes - they are heaven!!! In fact, having been to Kardamena 3 times before, this was our first stop after unpacking cos we love the cheese bread. George who runs the place is lovely and is very friendly and helpful - he is always on hand to teach us some Greek.

Genesis - (Restaurants in Kardamena)

Excellent friendly service at this restaurant. Me and my partner Paul were their first customers this season, which the sons remembered all through our stay. It is a family run business and the mother and sons are lovely and helpful. The father even offered to teach Paul Greek cooking - that would have been fun!!!! They do an excellent full english breakfast for 5 euros and Paul raved about their Greek platter all holiday.  Planning to go back to Kardamena in Sept and hope that they will still all be there.

Ariadne - (Restaurants in Kardamena)

Agree with all comments about this restaurant. One of the best in Kardamena. Staff are very helpful and friendly and the service is very good. The food was gorgeous and I found I couldn't finish mine as there was so much.

Billys Bar - (Bars in Kos Town)

Hope Gary is still singing along to Mustang Sally!!! Paul is still speaking Greek to unsuspecting victims ( I am sure you know what I mean Vasilis, David and Nik).Wish we were still there and look forward to seeing you all next year. Make sure you are all there - David, Nik, Nassia (probably spelt wrong), Ellie and last but not least Billy!!!!  If we win the lottery, we will be back to see you sooner - some hope!!! I have added some of the piccies we tookPS. David - sorry for smacking you so hard on our last night but you are a bad boy!!!!  Elaine and Paul

Hi its me again - just a couple more piccies to add.  I hope somebody at Billy's bar looks at this website!! Will you post a comment so I know you've got them. Ellie - you are such a poser!!!Is there a website or email address for Billy's bar? Vasilis did give Paul what looks like a website but it is not recognised when I type it in - I have tried all sorts of variations.  Please let me know.  Elaine & Paul xxx

This place is just as good as ever - they have changed the way they do their cheese bread this year but it is still scrummy. Be careful if you have the garlic bread - it is gorgeous but make sure your friends have it at the same time or they won't be your friends for long.  The effects of my breath were really quite funny!!! We went in there several times again this year and everything we had from salad to pizza to Greek food was amazing. George is a lovely bloke and him and all the staff that work there are so friendly. See you next year - Elaine & Paul xxx

This place is brillian - the whole family are so friendly. We were in Genesis last year and they remembered us again this year. The food is gorgeous - the servings were so big, I always ended up leaving some of mine. The full English breakfast is highly recommended as is the Greek platter. We did eat other things but I can' remember specifically other than everything was great. Nothing is too much trouble for George and Stella. We actually remembered to write in their visitors book this year. See you next year - Elaine & Paul xxx

Aramis - (Restaurants in Kardamena)

Elaine S

This is definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Kardamena. The choice of food is amazing and they will serve with salad, rice, vegetables and any form of potatoes (jacket, boiled, mashed, roast, chips). Even though it was quiet in May this year, this restaurant was full evey night which says a lot. Nothing was too much trouble.

Ladikos Studios - (Accommodation in Kardamena)

Ladikos Beach studios are lovely. As their name would suggest, they are situated on the beach front and Johnny, the owner, will put out sun loungers and brollies on the beach for you. They are on the edge of Kardamena, at Banana beach end, but still near enough to walk to everything - if you have been to Kardamena before, you will know that everything is pretty close together. We have stayed there for the last 2 years and we have had no problems. The owner is really good as he lives in his apartment in the studio block and keeps an eye out for everything. He is always there to help!! The studios are basic, as you would expect in Greece, but clean. They have hairdriers in the room which is a plus, but I forgot and still took mine. If there are just 2 of you staying there, ask for rooms 4, 5 or 6 as they all have sea views - if possible, ask the tour company before you go as they are reluctant to change any of their plans, when you get there. I can't understand why you would have read bad reviews cos for us they are spot on!!! Make pals with Johnny and you have a friend for life!!

Camelot - (Restaurants in Kardamena)

Elaine S

I can't comment on the food, service or price because we never went in. This place is a nightmare - every time you walked past you were hassled to go in. They were pushy and really annoying. It got so bad that we were sneaking down a side street before we reached Camelot to avoid any grief. If they eased off, they might get more people in!!!!!!!
