THE SUNBURNT ARMS - KOS TOWN

Having recently returned from Kos, I thought that I would take a look at peoples comments and add acouple of my own. Once again I visited my friends YIANNIS or ( YANNI ) & SAM at The Sunburnt Arms. All I can say is that the FOOD is good, the LOCATION is good, and the hosts are VERY GOOD, it is well worth a visit if you are staying in the LAMBI side of KOS TOWN.

This is a note for Richard & Ruth Fisher, I think that you meant to that JOHN PILLINGER called GIANNIS, YANNI - anyway I think that they mean the same, it is like John & Jack.

Giannis, Sam & Anastasia...not forgetting Giannis's Dad are 4 of the best things to come out of Kos!
The food is unbeleivable, the service tremendous and the warm friendly atmosphere is beyond words.
Excallent English Breakfasts (especially the sausage), cottage pie and Bekre Meze...
Giannis is a greek with a cockney accent, Sam has a Brummy accent and is really down to earth, Anastasia is as cute as they come and Giannis's Dad is the best cook in the world!

Free sunbeds if you have a brekkie too!

We use the Sunburnt for breakfast if we're not self catering. Very good tea and nice british toast! the owner - someone says its yanni is very friendly and recognizes us as soon as we walk down the street on the first morning even after a gap of 2 years. He offers free sunbeds but we prefer to go further down lambi beach where its less crowded

this place can become addictive......be warned!
been through the menu many times over (been to kos for ten years now, often twice a year) the food is excellent, and very competitively priced. Yanni and Sam will become good friends to you, but watch your bill....you won't pay as much as you think! Going June 2nd this year...so I'll get TWO Sunday lunches in this time!

THE SUNBURNT ARMS

This restaurant is owned an run by Giannis and Sam, she is from Coventry,England. It is situated down on the beach in SOCRATOUS STREET and serves a full Greek and English Menu. They are very well known for their SUNDAY LUNCH'S, as I said Sam comes from Coventry and makes a very good Yorkshire Pudding. If you buy drinks there he lets you use the sun beds for FREE. It has a very good reputation and Giannis is a great guy.
If you go, tell him Tony from Coventry sent you.
