Spyros Taverna

I can only describe the food here as no better than bad school dinners, how it has had any good reviews is a complete puzzle to me, I always thought that eating out in a restaurant should be a dining experience, We ordered white wine which not only came up very warm it smelt and tasted like vinegar and was returned and replaced with two beers, our starter of fried courgette and aubergine was so greasy we could not eat it, our next dish was Chicken fried in breadcrumb, this dish had clearly been pre frozen along with the chips, and looked like it had been cooked in very old burnt oil, there are so many better restaurants in Tigaki like Plori and Meni there is no reason to ever eat here

Just got back from Tigaki and had some wonderful meals here, for sure is the best Taverna in Tigaki. If you go you have to try them and Say hello to Kosta & Nikita from me!

Had pepper steak but ended with what appeared to be a Bernaise which was rather tough, however my husband's and daughter's meals were spot on

This meal was just so rushed i felt that they might as well pushed me out of the door. For starter we ordered a ham and cheese pancake & something my husband had vegtables with ccheese and garlic, these were very nice but i had two staff members hovering over me to take away our starter plates and as soon as they did gave us our main, this i find rude and un-relaxed we were in and out within half and hour, this to me is too quick for an evening meal on a holiday. For our main meal we had pasta and pizza, my husband said that the pasts was quite bland, and my pizza sause was just to rich i could not eat even half.

Ate in this restaurant twice. Food was excellent on both occasions.  Waiters are friendly and the service is excellent. 

Visited this place twice whilst in Tingaki.  Was really good food and attention from the staff was excellent.  The first time myself and my friend had the chicken and pork Bekre Meze.  It was in a quite spicy sauce but very nice.  You could have it with roast poatoes and veg instead of chips.  Fabulous.  The second time my friend had the chicken Bekre Meze, having had the pork the first time.  I had the kleftico which was wonderful.  The lamb was gr8t.  Am always worried when having lamb because it can be very fatty.  Not this one though, it just fell to pieces.  Will go back when I visit Kos again.  Highly reccomend it. 

We visited this restaurant several times and found the service and food to be excellent.  It was always busy in the evening.  The kleftico and stifado were excellent.

I would recommend Spyros to all visitors to Tingaki.

We ate here 4 times in the 2 weeks off our holiday. It was very busy most night's and after 11pm place was full with greeks which is always a good sign!

This restaurant was v busy most nights but we found the food to be average nothing special ,that goes for the service also.

We loved this taverna on holiday the food was fab the best i had in a long time. We went there every night the service was very good too a big hi to Nikitas, Spyros and Vag. We will see you next year for sure.

Say Hi to Stamatis if you visit, he's a very friendly guy!

This was a great place to eat---very friendly and helpful staff and tasty food! Good value for money as well!!!!

The best place to eat in Tingaki!

Make sure you visit Spyros and say hi to Stamatis. He's one of the friendliest people in Tingaki. The food here is just great and good prices too! Not to be missed! See you next year YAMAS!

Wish we had found you on our first day, good food not evrything with chips like most, Very nice people who where very freindly at a very good price too which was nice.
