went here a few times and the meal was very nice on all occasions.

We really enjoyed Mavros.  It took some time to get Greek food-wise and we decided the bread had to go.

Great for an afternoon beer as you come off the beach. This restaurant has loads of character and good traditional Greek food.

We like it - the food, the atmosphere, the waiters and the owners. For us it´s the best way of enjoying matihari in the evening. Ask most of the customers and they will tell you the same ...

Again I agree! We went twice and though the food was good, one of the waiters/owner? was really grumpy!When busy,service was really poor.Best to go a bit early in the evening when not so crowded.

This taverna is on the opposite corner to El Greco. The menu isn't as extensive as some of the tavernas. Whilst we quite enjoyed the meal, we weren't made to feel very welcome. We went there twice and won't be going back a third time!
